The annual Golf Outing Fundraiser at Whisper Creek Golf Course has been rescheduled for Friday, September 12th with a 8am shotgun start. $100 per golfer or $350 per foursome.

Enrollment for our Fall Sunday School grades K thru 5th, which starts on Sept. 7th, is underway!

WE NEED SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS!!! Our Northern Illinois Conferene is offering the annual training event BLAST 2008 on Sept. 27th from 9am-3pm at St. Mark UMC in Chicago. Registration fee of $10 includes lunch and materials. Registration deadline is Sept. 17th. Contact Cheryl Fournier for more information.

Summer Children's Church - Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st & 2nd graders will gather after the Children's message during worship service for a summer Sunday School session.

Nursery provided all morning for ages 4 and under

Our Saturday morning Men's Fellowship & Study Group will be starting up again on September 13th at 7am.

The Thursday morning Women's Bible Study & Fellowship will gather at the church on September 11th at 9:30am. Bring your favorite breakfast item to share. All future meetings will be 9am.

Christ Church is again partnering with Cary UMC to train a new class of Stephen Ministers. Class will meet on Thursdays beginning Sept. 11th from 6:30-9:00pm. If you have questions or need additional information, contact Arlene Young or Paster Dawn.

M&M's are having a picnic at Diecke Park in Huntley on Sunday, September 21st beginning at 11:30am. More details to follow.

Women's Retreat for Spiritual Renewal and Fellowship has been postponed.

Christ UMC will be hosting "Bethlehem Marketplace" on Saturday, December 13th from 10am - 2pm where children will learn basket weaving, jewelry making , wood carving, leather making and will hear storytellers and the sounds of long ago. This will be open to the public and will be a wonderful experience for our children.
