2008 Church Conference Report

Christ UMC will be hosting "Bethlehem Marketplace" on Saturday, December 13th from 10am - 2pm where children will learn basket weaving, jewelry making , wood carving, leather making and will hear storytellers and the sounds of long ago. This will be open to the public and will be a wonderful experience for our children.

Our children will be participating in a Holiday Children's Choir which will practice immediately following church on 11/23. 11/30, 12/07. The choir will perform both at the Bethlehem Marketplace on December 13th and during service on Sunday, December 14th.

Christmas Poinsettia Orders are being taken now through December 7th.

Our Youth Explosion has set up a tree in the lobby of the church for the Hearts of Gold local community ministry. Please select a tag, purchase the item listed, return the UNWRAPPED item, with the tag, to the church no later than Sunday, December 7th. Gifts will be transported to the Hearts of Gold volunteer location.

ON NOVEMBER 23rd: There will be no Sunday School or evening Youth Explosion.

Upcoming Mission Events
November Mission of the month: our local food pantry. We will be collecting donations of the following for the pantry: cereal, soups, and any baking mixes.
Dec. 6th: collecting food at Jewel Food Store

Church Office Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 2pm and Wednesday from 9am to 12noon. The office is closed on Fridays; however, Pastor Dawn is available by cell phone.
