Enthusiasm and excitement came with Pastor Dawn Chesser's appointment to Christ Church in March of 2004. Her passion is to provide an interesting, fulfilling and, at times, experimental worship service that speaks to the hearts and minds of all that attend. She is committed to open and continuous dialogue about the scriptures not only between herself and the congregation but also within the congregation. She hopes the growth of the church continues as more people with diverse cultural, theological, family, and lifestyle backgrounds visit and find they can be themselves as well as be part of an alternative ministry and faith community.

Pastor Dawn Chesser has served in ministry since 1994 and is a third generation United Methodist minister. She has two sons, Gill and Christopher.
